Services
-
Individual Counseling
My clients benefit from a compassionate, safe space where they feel free to be their authentic selves. I work with adult individuals on the following issues: anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, burnout, OCD, specific phobias and fears, life transitions, low self-worth, relationship dynamics, and more.
-
EMDR Therapy
EMDR is a powerful form of therapy that helps our brains heal from trauma and adversity. Research has shown that it effectively treats a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and phobias, taking less time to do so than traditional talk therapy. I also provide consultation to EMDR-trained clinicians.
-
Phobias/Emetophobia
Phobias are a category of anxiety disorders that cause intense fear or panic about an object or situation. Emetophobia is often misdiagnosed and misunderstood. It can make your world smaller by avoiding situations that you once enjoyed, isolating yourself from others, and feeling deeply uncomfortable in your own body.
Learn More About EMDR Therapy
“EMDR therapy targets the unprocessed memories that contain the negative emotions, sensations and beliefs. By activating the brain’s information processing system, the old memories can then be “digested.” Meaning what is useful is learned, what’s useless is discarded, and the memory is now stored in a way that is no longer damaging.”

EMDR is a powerful form of therapy that helps our brains heal from trauma, adversity, or other distressing events. It is recognized as a best practice for treating PTSD in combat veterans by the Veterans Administration and the Department of Defense. However, you don’t need to experience PTSD to benefit from EMDR. Research has shown that it effectively and efficiently treats a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and phobias, taking less time to do so than traditional talk therapy.

Phobias are a category of anxiety disorders that cause intense fear or panic about an object or situation. While I have treated a variety of phobias, I specialize in the treatment of Emetophobia, an often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and difficult-to-treat phobia. Emetophobia can make your world smaller by avoiding situations that you once enjoyed, isolating yourself from others, and feeling deeply uncomfortable in your own body.

EMDR Intensives provide faster results than the traditional therapy model. We are able to spend more time in processing, which allows us to address the root issue more effectively and efficiently.
